API Volumes
Can you provide estimates of daily volume for the following endpoints?
- Auction endpoint (winning ads)
- Impression endpoint (this can be estimated by multiplying the number of estimated auction ad calls by the number of planned ad slots that will be available on the page)
- Conversion endpoint
Sites
- Will you be operating the ad program on multiple domains?
- If so, can you please provide a list of these domains and details on how they are ID'ed in your system?
Users
- Can you please provide a list of admin users that need access to the Advertiser UI upon launch? Please include the following information for each user:
First name
Last name
Email address
Note: Once admin users are created, an education session will be held to teach the team how to use our platform, which includes creating advertiser users.
Architecture
- Who are you using as your web services provider?
- Where are your data centers located?
Note: Koddi currently only supports server-side integrations.
Placements
- What placements will we be starting with? We will need to review the various placements planned to ensure they are integrated correctly.
- Koddi has two methods for winning ads integration. Both methods will likely be used on your site for different pieces of ad inventory. Koddi strongly recommends using the bidders’ method for search placements (like sponsored products).
Auction
- What auction pricing model will you use? Koddi generally recommends a generalized second price auction, but there are [other options] (https://developers.koddi.com/docs/auction-pricing-models) we can review.
- Do you currently do any user/entity level scoring we can use for ads? (Note: This is not necessary for initial implementation/launch. We can add this later if it does not already exist.)
- We will implement a Non-Compete Rule rule at the advertiser level in order to prevent bidders belonging to the same advertiser from competing against one-another in the auction. If you have questions, please let us know.
- Do you want to launch the ads program with any initial Dynamic Targeting enabled? We generally suggest starting simple if you're introducing a new program and testing more options over time.
- Do you want to have a Reserve Price? (Koddi can provide recommendations based on your industry.)
Attribution
- What is a conversion for your platform?
- At what level of granularity is a conversion tracked? I.e., is a user able to purchase multiple different items per conversion?
- What conversion attribution look back window would you like? (Koddi can provide recommendations based on your industry.)
- Do you have offline/in store conversion data?
Currencies
- What currencies should the advertiser UI support?
Branding
- What logo should be used in the UI?
- What logo should be used as the favicon (icon in tab) for platform users?
- Can you provide your brand colors? Koddi allows for a customizable color palette to be used in various places in our UI.
You will be able to configure this color palette directly on the UI at any time.
Inventory Feeds
- Can you provide an estimate of the number of products that will be included in the inventory feed?
- How often does your product feed update (are products added or removed, or do the details of products change)?
