By default, only impressions that are truly viewable according to IAB standards are counted. This removes ambiguity from reporting and ensures that every billed impression delivers real value to advertisers.
This approach means you retain full control over viewability definitions and enforcement mechanisms. There's no need to depend on downstream verification: viewability is enforced upstream through strict impression accounting, ensuring consistency with brand-specific requirements.
