Koddi offers one of the most flexible, powerful, and full-featured enterprise media platforms in the industry – with a comprehensive ads solution in campaign management, ad auctioning, dynamic audience targeting, personalization integration, billing, and more – all available via our flexible, modern platform and its associated APIs.
Koddi is a headless API-based solution that is 100% marketplace focused. Our platform provides the flexibility and customization needed for you to own the ad program roadmap. This includes the ability to control and innovate to meet supplier and shopper needs with new ad unit types, as well as expanded capabilities such as yield management, billing management, and bid management.
Our focus is on helping marketplaces build private ad programs (where you own the relationship with the advertiser –your supplier– and you own the data).
What that means to you is this: we are not asking you to join our media network; we instead focus everything on the success of your marketplace, app, or e-commerce site, and we work hard at helping you build and scale your program the way you think it should be built and scaled.

Ad Experiences
Commerce media refers to advertising within commerce environments, onsite, offsite, and on-premise (or in-store). There are various ad formats tailored to commerce media, each with its own advantages. With Koddi any experience with these commerce environments can be monetizable. A few examples can be found below:

Campaign Hierarchy
The Koddi Ads system provides a full featured campaign management experience (see the Campaign Management section of the Features and Benefits guide). In addition, every capability within Koddi Ads is available as an API service, making it easy to integrate into existing or future platforms – both within your existing platforms or with external third parties.

Winning Ads
This endpoint requests an ad or multiple ads for display on pages throughout your site or app. The winning ad(s) result from an auction that the Koddi Ads platform runs in realtime, based on the business logic, bids and bid modifiers, and eligibility rules of your ad program.
Winning ads will return a list of the search-unique information and attributes for display of an ad. Tracking data, pricing data, details of the winning media and potentially an error message are all contained within the response.

Tracking Events
These endpoints allow tracking of impression, click and conversion activity. They should be called when ads are shown, clicked or whenever a conversion happens.
Dynamic Targeting Management
Koddi's industry-leading privacy-first targeting framework is a robust tool for marketplaces to open their first-party data to advertisers in a flexible, efficient, and most importantly, safe way. This targeting tool gives publishers the opportunity to use their unique data sources to provide a distinct competitive advantage, and gives advertisers the ability to fine tune their campaign.
A target is the attribute the entity (product) is being targeted to. It is generally a biddable characteristic. Examples of common targeting segments can be found below:

Media Management APIs
Koddi partners can integrate with Koddi’s media management API in order to provide a self-service option to advertisers independent of Koddi’s UI. This API allows for advertisers to create and edit media in real time, doing so on a site they might already be familiar with.
Reporting APIs
Koddi’s robust reporting API allows for advertisers and admins to create and pull reports for a variety of needs.
